Raytheon Quality Program Lead (QPL) in Andover, Massachusetts

Quality Program Lead (QPL) This position is the senior Mission Assurance authority responsible for the effectiveness of the quality management system (establishes, oversees, and coordinates quality policy and practice) for the Qatar Patriot Missile Program. This position interfaces with senior site and site functional Program leadership, senior Mission Assurance leadership, customer representatives, suppliers, subcontractors, IPT and CBT partners as the face of IDS and Raytheon Quality. This position is the primary customer interface to the programs for assuring the site and programs comply with the customer’s quality imposed requirements. This position serves as consultant to program management in long-range program planning concerning new or projected areas of technological research and advancements. The QPL is responsible for Quality budgetary management and oversight per all Raytheon's financial compliance rules and regulations. He/she will be responsible for adherence to company standards, and applicable government regulations and for continuously reviewing the mission assurance philosophy, practice, and procedures to ensure they meet the highest standards. Decisions or recommendations would have a long-term impact on a program’s reputation and business posture. This position reports into the IAMD MA organization in Andover, MA. Required Skills: · 10 + years of related professional experience in Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and/or Operations discipline · Experience with any of the following: Program development, integration, supplier and / or manufacturing activities · Experience with root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions · Knowledge of continuous improvement processes such as Six Sigma and / or Lean Methodologies · EVMS experience or other financial or budgetary certifications Desired Skills: · Passionate, high-energy, self-starting team player who achieves goals and strives for continuous improvement · Excellent written & verbal communication and presentation skills · General knowledge of aerospace / defense products and systems technologies · Experience in proposals and bidding · General understanding of commercial and aerospace / defense regulations and standards · Six Sigma , Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc) · Progressive leadership experience · Working knowledge of Quality systems, ISO 9001, Mission Assurance, Integrated Product Development · System, Capability Maturity Model Integrated, and statistical analysis · Solid background and experience in quality and engineering with experience in a production environment · Strong interpersonal, collaboration, communication, and proficiency in preparing for and presenting to upper management and customer · Ability to exercise sound judgment and apply decision making skills with minimal supervision · Demonstrated ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems · Proven ability to maintain excellent customer and supplier relationships\ · Experienced in the deployment of applied statistics techniques including Design for Six sigma tools and other quality tools to effect program performance improvements Required Education (including Major): Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or a Technical Discipline 99636
