Provide acquisition and life cycle sustainment support to the Force Protection program office, which is within the Battle Management Directorate (AFLCMC/HB) at Hanscom AFB, MA.


  • Assist in the implementation of robust logistics and sustainment support processes to address the lifecycle requirements of the Force Protection program.

  • Assist the Program Team to develop an overall sustainment strategy for the program as it transitions from production to sustainment.

  • Identify and define product support requirements, assess status, identify shortfalls, and coordinate and interface with stakeholders to develop required actions and plans to overcome any identified shortfalls.

  • Provide support and advice for Technical Orders (TOs), Commercial off the Shelf (COTS) integration, maintenance and mission crew training, support equipment, manufacturing/production oversight, management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE), supply chain management and configuration/data management.

  • Support Government Technical Evaluations and Basis-of-Estimates (BOE)

  • Attend design reviews and Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM)

  • Identify major program logistics risks areas and applying appropriate mitigation strategies.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related technical discipline.

  • A minimum of 5 yearswork experience, with experience on DoD or Air Force acquisition programs desirable.

  • Previousexperienceworking inanAcquisitionLifeCycle Logisticsrole andDefense Acquisition WorkforceImprovement Act(DAWIA) LifeCycleLogisticsLevelII Certificationisdesired.

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an IPT environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proficient in MS Office suite

  • Candidate must obtain, and maintain, the proper personnel clearance for this position.
