Oracle Product Manager 5 (Financial Services) in Bedford, Massachusetts

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

CX (Customer Experience) Industry Product Strategy and Management

Oracle is recruiting an industry Product Strategy and Management leader for the Financial Services industry to support Oracle CX s global industry solutions strategy. Candidates will have an existing executive level industry presence and will be seen as a thought leader within their respective industry. They have a vision for where their industry is going in the next 5-10 years and ability to express it/sell it clearly within Oracle and externally to customers, prospects, analysts and press.

CX (Customer Experience) Industry Product Strategy and Management resource will work to define our solution strategy, create and manage go-to-market strategy, related content and collateral for use by sales resources and on our internal and external websites, and present at strategic industry conferences, events and key customer locations. The Industry PM resource will support outbound activities related to industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Inform Oracle CX Industry Solutions messaging for Financial Services.

o The deck, the pitch, the vision

o Educate CX leadership on industry vision and domain nuances

o Educate Oracle sales on industry vision and domain nuances

Be the Oracle executive thought leader for your industry

o Speak/network at Oracle events (customer visit center, conferences, webinars, regional events, customer councils, etc.)

o Speak/network at 3 rd party industry events

o Content ideation for digital media (blog, social, whitepapers, etc.)

o Influence Oracle CX Industry Solution future direction

o Press and analyst engagements

Support CX Industry Solutions Sales

o Executive level relationship building with prospects and customers

o Engage in customer/prospect planning & visioning process

o Oracle executive sponsor for 4-5 major accounts

o Develop pipeline in conjunction with sales team

o Bring key relationships (partners, prospects, people)

Travel will be approximately 20%
