This role provides both strategic and operational leadership in delivering and supporting HR systems, technology and data management for the organization. Position is responsible for all HRIS related activities including optimization of business processes to ensure effective use of systems, oversight of system administration functions, configuring and implementing system enhancement requests, managing user testing of system modifications and definition of critical system requirements. Responsible for ensuring the day to day integrity of the systems and that business processes are accurate, timely and efficient. Manages the development of internal business requirements through implementation in support of management and company needs. Identifies training needs of end users and develops and provides the necessary training to meet those needs. Manages the HR Records function. Assures compliance in all aspects of position. Current HRIS system: ADP – this role will take the lead in completing a comprehensive needs assessment and vendor selection to support current needs of organization.

Will also act as an individual contributor providing business analysis, system support, reporting, and user training. This individual acts as a service provider to the HR team and to business leaders, and as a liaison between end-users, vendors, and other internal stakeholders (IT, Finance, Sales, Legal, etc.).

  • Serve as overall technical lead for Human Resource (HR) Systems including ADP, Taleo (learning management) and other adjunct systems. Manages all day-to-day system development, administration, and management. Acts as project manager for related HR initiatives.

  • Manages all internal and external data flow, system interfaces, data feeds, and reporting - with Payroll and other internal systems, benefits carriers, vendors, regulatory agencies, auditors, etc.

  • Strong business process design and documentation skills. Will be responsible for developing process documentation, reporting/activity calendar and checklist of all required internal and external reporting and audits.

  • Act as central point of contact for all data requests from all internal and external constituents (quality group, auditors, regulatory agencies, etc.)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5-8+ years of HRIT, including leadership experience


  • Understanding of Human Resources functions and structure, including employee relations benefits, recruiting, compensation, learning & development, and performance management.

  • Strong communication skills, will serve as liaison for between HR team, IT group, technology vendors and other internal/external constituents.

  • Experience as project leader for new HRIT implementation(s) or major upgrade initiative

  • Understanding of data structures (relational, object oriented, etc.).

  • Liaise with IT and other functions, applying technical expertise to address both technical and business issues. Ability and desire to learn new technology and update new features and functionality.

  • Strong background in data integrity analytics & audits.

  • Expert level knowledge of MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Access.

  • Organizational skills to prioritize workflow and respond to conflicting deadlines.
