Application Architect – Philadelphia, PA Job Description: Accenture LLP seeks an Application Architect in Philadelphia, PA to understand and translate business needs of Accenture clientele into technical requirements. S/he will perform the following duties: develop/communicate detailed technology architecture/implementation strategy for a solution; participate in gap analysis and conceptual/logical architecture development; administer large-scale eCommerce implementations, such as hybris, WebSphere Commerce, Oracle/ATG, Sterling Order Management, and Demandware; provide administration and hands-on contributions to software design/development/integration; coordinate project estimation effort; resolve integration and interfacing issues between various back-end systems; and optimize application performance/scalability. The position is based out of the Accenture office in Philadelphia, PA, but national travel to client sites is required up to 75% of the average work week. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: The position requires at least a bachelor's degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience in the IT industry including the following professional experience: 5 years conducting Java/J2EE software development; 3 years designing and documenting eCommerce application architectures; 3 years developing eCommerce applications utilizing a commercially-available platform, such as SAP hybris, IBM WebSphere Commerce, Oracle/ATG, or Demandware; and 3 years integrating eCommerce applications with back-office systems.
