This position will be responsible for:
Located at the Proteomics Center and Department of Urology at Boston Children's Hospital / Harvard Medical School, working closely in conjunction with the Proteomics Center at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Vascular Biology Program at Boston Children’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School led by Dr. Marsha Moses.
Interrogating the urinary proteome and glycoproteome to identify novel and clinically relevant markers of urologic disease, renal damage, urinary tract infection, and bladder dysfunction. Developing novel software programs to augment high throughput data analysis.
To qualify, you must have:
One or more years of experience with R programming.
Familiarity with statistical approaches including modeling, graphical analysis, and bioinformatics, desired.
Aptitude at applying functions to: elements of lists, and lists of lists using the "apply" functions (sapply, lapply, mapply); and matrices with the "apply" function.
Deep experience working with all R data structures, especially matrices, lists, and lists of lists.
Comfort with R plots and graphics, and the ability to perform input / output processing.
Experience or familiarity with mass spectrometry and proteomics, a plus.
