Kforce Business Systems Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts

Kforce's client in Boston, MA is currently seeking two Business Systems Analyst's to join their team. Overview:The candidates will be supporting the implementation and operation of its state-wide eLicensing systems. These systems support over 100 different license types. The technology foundation of this system is software from a company named Accela, Inc. (www.accela.com). The client's team is responsible for the configuration, customization (using JavaScript), reports, correspondence, testing, maintenance, and support of the overall system. As they are looking to significantly enhance their team, they are seeking a range of candidate skills and experience as indicated below. There are a range of needs from individuals that are experienced in the entire technology suite and very familiar with state licensing operations to people with a narrower set of skills. This is 100% on-site work Monday-Friday and is highly desired. However, based on skill, cost, and other factors the client will consider different on-site scenarios based on the candidate's qualification and salary expectations.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Public Administration, or a related field

  • A track record of success in conducting business analysis, documenting requirements and specifications, and updating technical documentation, and communication to stakeholders accordingly

Significant Proven Experience:

  • Accela platform configuration, customization, and debugging

  • Report writing and ad hoc data analysis in Oracle d/b, using Accela reporting and Crystal Reports

  • Java Scripting and SQL programming

  • Application testing through and including UAT and deployment

  • System management and performance tuning of the application, Oracle, and interfaces, etc.

  • Knowledge of state licensing (Alcoholic Beverage licensing, professional licensing, etc.)

  • Familiarity with IT business practices and the ability to interface and integrate with IT and Agency functional areas

  • Strong and collegial end-user support interpersonal skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analysis skills; planning and organizational proficiency; and good business judgment

  • Must have ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and perform related duties, as required, to maintain continuity and integrity of system

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
