This Senior HRIS Systems Analyst will be responsible for:
Assisting in the research, design, and oversight of the development and maintenance of the Human Resource automated information systems.
Serving as a liaison to Human Resources, Information Services, Budget and Payroll. Providing application processing and design recommendations.
Supporting staff in developing automated solutions for the administration of Human Resource programs and for the reporting of information.
To qualify, you must have:
The knowledge of theories, principles, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field AND seven to ten years’ experience.
Demonstrated competency with information system capabilities and trends, in particular local area networks and a working knowledge of the all PeopleSoft Modules including PeopleSoft security and trees.
Knowledge of PCs, operating systems (DOS/OS), back‑up, storage, windows applications, SQL, Visual Basic, and PeopleCode, and the ability to troubleshoot PC problems.
Experience with training staff in applications, modules or specific screens.
The analytical skills to resolve complex problems requiring the use of programming skills or technical principles and in‑depth, experienced‑based cross‑functional knowledge.
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, facilitating group information needs and translating those needs into specifications that outline data system requirements.
No certification, registration or licensure required.
