Responsibilities

The Corporate Strategy group is responsible for creating, communicating, maintaining, and aligning the company around the roadmap for long-term, profitable growth.

Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Strategy, the Manager of Corporate Strategy (Manager) will partner with senior leaders to support strategic initiatives and lead decision support on ad hoc requests. As part of this team you will help shape the future direction of the company by identifying and assessing opportunities for profitable growth, working with the business to tackle strategic questions, and working with the business units and other functions to evolve their strategic plans and playbooks. This is a high visibility role with significant independent responsibilities and excellent prospects for career growth.

The Manager must be able to:

  • Apply critical analytic skills to advance complex projects with high strategic importance and exposure.

  • Scope projects, help frame out an appropriate approach, develop a workplan, and execute the analysis in an effective and timely fashion.

  • Summarize implications of those projects into clear and compelling communications designed to drive action.

  • Extract the key insights from analyses, outline implications, and effectively summarize findings for target audiences in both written and verbal form.

  • Effectively engage and work with management across the company and around the globe to drive traction.

  • Build to build relationships with peers and business leaders across the organization, and partner with the organization to design and execute implementation plans to ensure strategy is converted to action.

Qualifications

Ideal Experience/Education

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience

  • Prior experience in management consulting and/or rotational assignments focused on strategy and finance a plus

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university with a strong record of academic performance. Preferred majors in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics

  • MBA or equivalent a plus

  • Top-notch quantitative and analytical skills; ability to find structure, logic, and insight in complex business problems to provide meaningful conclusions

  • Ability to structure documents and quantitative analyses to effectively communicate with senior management

  • Strong project management capabilities with ability to thrive in a project-based, collaborative team environment

  • Self-starter with well-developed interpersonal and influence skills; ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships in a global and matric environment

  • Exhibiting strong self-awareness and openness to receiving coaching
