We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to join our SEM Engineering (Search Engine Marketing) team. We create highly available services that form complex distributed systems. If you love delivering product driven software, we want to hear from you!
What you will work on:
Write high-quality, high-performance, maintainable backend code
Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (Agile/Scrum), iterative development, estimations and design sessions
Own product design by facilitating design reviews and staying abreast of design standards and incorporate into product design.
Work closely with SEM Business, Software Engineers and Operations in a collaborative environment to provide quality software and solutions.
Maintain and improve our engineering culture: perform design and code review, introduce new tools and methods, give "brown bag" presentations, etc.
6+ years experience writing high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code
6+ years of experience with OO design/development
Experience with Big Data technologies: e.g. Hadoop, Spark
Experience with MVC frameworks
Experience with ORMs (Doctrine and/or Hibernate or others)
Solid understanding of relational databases
Strong oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to mentor other software developers to maintain architectural vision and software quality
Excellent software engineering habits: object oriented design, unit testing, integration testing, data structures etc.
BS or MS degree in Computer Science
Experience with Big Data Technologies (e.g. Spark, Hadoop)
Knowledge of SEM/Paid Search
