The Senior Organizations and Structures Consultant will be the main point of contact to coordinate and centralize requests for additional headcount and compensation budget variances for the units they support, while simultaneously ensuring that the organizational design and related productivity is optimized within budget. This role will also support priority projects for delivery against transformational or budgetary challenges through the application of Organization Design principles. Working closely with the Business Finance Officers, Human Resource Business Partners, managers and team members of the units supported the Senior Organizations and Structures Consultant will stay up to date with general governance and on all expected changes. The Organization & Structures Consultant will conduct thorough; in depth analysis based on the information collected and will present the output, including recommendations to senior management. There will be significant exposure to the Santander US senior management in the role.


•Analyze organizational and functional structure of the Bank units to identify opportunities for improvement, using criteria of homogeneity, flexibility and simplicity

•Control and monitor authorized headcount and incorporate required information into system

•Work proactively with HR, Business Finance Officers, IT, Corporate and business line stakeholders to identify systems, processes and functionality improvements to streamline and reduce costs

•Initiate and/or lead multiple and sensitive organization design projects in partnership with the business through the definition and design of effective organizational structures

•Create internal (Santander) and corporate reporting in terms of Headcount and organizational charts on an ad-hoc basis, as well as support in the development of business cases and presentations

•Participate in the development of the strategic plan and operating plan of Structures and Human Resources corresponding systems

•Interact with key stakeholders across the organization to promote governance and oversight of organization and efficiency initiatives

•Provide appropriate critical thinking and oversight of projects that impact headcount and/or organizational design to produce alternative ideas and solutions based on SME knowledge and data collected



•At least 5 years of related consulting, HR, project management, regulatory compliance, or any other related experience is required

•Banking/Financial Industry experience is preferred

•Must have Bachelor’s Degree

•Strong Microsoft Office skills are required, and PeopleSoft and Fusion experience is preferred

•Polished communication and presentation skills are required to interface and present with Senior Management

•Must be adaptable to handle adhoc requests on a moments notice, and able to manage multiple projects
