You are an advocate for the end user and are passionate about

passion for cutting edge web technology you will architect site code,
standards, guidelines, processes, and tools that enable Oracle to; solve

You will have ownership of front-end code design,
development, and deployment on Oracle’s public web sites. The role needs strong
experience in modern development principles and practices, prototyping, and web
technologies. You will work closely with the Oracle.com Web Technology and Publishing
teams, IT, and vendors in all phases of the web development lifecycle.

Work closely with development andpublishing teams on execution of coding frameworks
Create well-crafted web experiencesutilizing modern methods and web technologies
Conceptualize and code onlineexperiences based on business and user needs, best practices, standards,and guidelines you have created
Implement code in a manner that isdocumented, robust, efficient, and repeatable
Create and deliver mockups, POCs,production-ready code and specifications
Drive a scalable, flexible, andcomponent based site framework
Be responsible for ongoingmaintenance, bug fixing, and improvement of your code
Execute, understand, and implementOracle’s brand and visual identity
Manage day-to-day developmentactivities and relationships with contractors and vendors
Provided coded templates, pages, andcomponents using your tool bag of web technologies
Document and provide training onOracle Web standards and development
Minimum of 5 year’s experienceworking in a developmentcapacity at a webagency, software company or other web-based business
Intermediate or better design skills,with strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills
Extensive knowledge and experiencewith the Internet and the World Wide Web
Solid understanding of large-scalewebsites and web development lifecycles
Possess an understanding of userexperience constructs
Enthusiastic and self-motivated
Extremely organized, detail-oriented,able to work to deadlines and multi-task
Strong interpersonal, communication,and presentation skills
Skill in documentation, creating andinstilling new processes and procedures

Detailed Description and Job Requirements
Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.
As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically four years of software engineering or related experience needed.
