Candidate will act as the overall program manager for next generation Human Capital Management technology implementation (Project Kumo). Incumbent will successfully structure, manage and implement program replacing existing legacy HR systems that support >300K employees in >112 countries. Successful candidate will bring together and build a horizontal, passionate team of product line leaders, GE business & functional leaders, employee experience leaders and future of work personas.
Drive overall next generation Human capital management program. Scope includes future of work experiences for candidate and getting to productive, performance, development and learning, Core HR, reporting, US and global payroll and benefits processes.
Identify and plan pre implementation activities aligned to meet program objectives. Includes governance process structure, process for standardization of business processes, understanding of future of work personas and user experiences, data conversion and reporting strategy
Create program management structure allowing for working in a horizontal environment. Includes program plan, roles & responsibilities and operating mechanisms
Create and articulate the program roadmap with phased scope allowing for maximum benefit realization and logical process flow. Identify applications for decommissioning.
Lead horizontal team of product leaders, functional pioneers, personas and technical product managers
Lead core program team including technical product leaders, program operating mechanisms and governance processes to ensure program rigor, communication and success
Recruit top talent to build a highly effective program team
Coach and mentor team members to become strong digital leaders
Partner with vendor selected and integrator to clearly define work streams, roles and responsibilities and rigor for management of all activities/dependencies/progress
Develop both short and long-term implementation strategies designed to maximize value and enable product modules while phasing overall implementation
Plan, prioritize and manage the product features and requirements from conceptual stages through implementation to optimize global, standard processes and meet guiding principles
Develop detailed, persona driven business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each user journey
Partner with enterprise architects to ensure build adheres to software development lifecycle principles &; devOps best practices. Design for reuse, including services/APIs, and leverage reusable components where-ever possible.
Enable rapid innovation leveraging Agile methodologies & scrum team
Manage budget, statement of works, contracts to maximize GE’s investment
Coordinate and provide regular updates to stakeholders including Senior HR executives, business and functional teams and business stakeholders
Correlate benefits back to approved business case for understanding of business benefits realized. Qualifications/Requirements: Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a “STEM” major or related field, or equivalent work experience
A minimum of 10 years of experience in software/IT industry
A minimum of 10 years of experience in leading and implementing large, cross functional programsEligibility Requirements

MBA/Master’s degree in a technical field
