Summary

Qivliq Federal is looking to hire a technical writer to join it's team supporting one of its current customers! The position will have experience in supporting an office environment in the administrative field

Responsibilities Include:

  • Write a variety of technical articles, reports, brochures, and/or manuals for documentation for a wide range of uses.

  • Coordinate the display of graphics and the production of documents.

  • Manage document workflows and ensures due dates are met.

  • Review and edit technical orders and other documents to ensure conformity with Air Force Lifecycle Management Agency and Air Force-wide specifications, including formatting, word usage, required content, and readability. Technical orders are primarily installation and configuration manuals used to guide technicians supporting the 760,000-user Air Force Network.

  • Liaise with Microsoft experts and other document authors to get clarification on items in technical documents and to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Prepare technical orders for publication using Arbortext software, ensuring conformity with rigid formatting requirements.

Qualifications

Required

  • Education: High School Diploma

  • A BS/BA can substitute for 4 years.

  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

  • Secret clearance required

  • Certificates: None required

Desired

  • Knowledge of Air Force networks and organizations
