Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Suggest and justify product directions within approved directions. Define responsibilities for new projects and specifies, designs and develops software according to those specifications. Provide consultative software guidance and strategic direction associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Acknowledged expert/professional within company and/or industry nationally and internationally. Provides leadership in the development and strategic direction of new products, processes, techniques. Acts as primary consultant on large projects that effect the organization*s long term objectives / strategy. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 10 more years of software engineering or related experience.

In this role you will be responsible for jointly designingand developing solutions for Oracle Public Cloud in collaboration withother development and QA architects. As a QA Architect you will be expectedto have a deep technical understanding of the design of lifecyclemanagement functions as well as how they interact with the entire Oracletechnical stack. We will look to you especially for designingand developing visionary and practical automation and mocking solutions toensure quality in a lights out, factory process. You will alsobe expected to give explicit design input and test ability feedback at theearly stages of product conceptualization and design. This is a veryhands on role, taking new ideas from concept to cloud readiness, assessing thatreadiness, and the results. Leadership capability and experience areneeded to influence others and to technically lead a team in thisimplementation.
10 years of Cloud and SaaS development an/or quality engineering experience
Demonstrated hands on, technical solutions, with verifiable outcomes
Deep experience in continuous integration
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing lights out automated harness, use of mocking, etc. to dramatically reduce costs while increasing substantially end quality
Proven experience in designing/developing solutions for scaling, concurrency, security, etc
Deep understanding of fleet infrastructure, including filers, storage, networks, etc., that must be considered in holistic quality assurance
Ability to grasp very large scale architectures, demonstrating the ability to understand interactions across hundreds of moving parts
