Kforce Software Support Team Manager in Burlington, Massachusetts

Kforce has a client seeking a Software Support Team Manager in Burlington, MA. Summary: As a hands-on leader, you will manage a team of 4 Support Engineers focusing on all aspects of the software offering that is already in production. This is a multi-faceted environment with many products and a range of different client needs, so this is a busy and growing function within the company. Additionally, there is a clear, 12-month technology update that will put you in the upswing on newer big data technologies.Responsibilities:

  • Support the IT infrastructure at the corporate site and at the retail locations around Boston (day travel)

  • Manage the service desk ticketing systems

  • Provide key support for new IT initiatives

  • Make recommendations for improvements in workflows/initiatives as required

  • BS in Computer Science or related

  • 2 years in a leadership capacity for Support Engineers

  • Experience with 3-tier architecture and enterprise software

  • Technical environment (not all required): Python, SQL, Java, Tomcat, XML, JavaScript, JSON, Oracle, MySQL, Elastics Search, Lucene, VMware
