Oracle Sr. UX Designer in Burlington, Massachusetts
Responsible for creating, evaluating and modifying prototypes to support evolving hardware and software application development.
As a member of the User Experience team, you will develop and apply software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems. May develop user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation and task and objective analyses. Provide product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems including tactile methods, visual graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction. May assist in developing design concept and implementation, providing input on user design considerations. May produce specifications describing user needs and internal structures for product in development.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically seven years of software engineering or related experience needed.

Sr. UX Designer
The Sr UX Designer is responsible for user interface (UI) design and maintenance for templates for Oracle s Adaptive Intelligence applications and projects, to achieve the goals established by the Chief Design Officer and AI Management. The Sr UX Designer will collaborate with the AI Product Teams, Development, Analyst and writer(s) to produce UI designs that continually improve the user experience of our applications. The Sr UX Designer, will also be responsible for designing and maintaining marketing, communication, training and other materials as/if needed.
Collaborate with product teams to design usable and compelling interactions across application and related properties
Prototype and iterate on designs based on feedback
Design and maintain design documentation templates
Perform quality checks to ensure design integrity at various stages of development process;
Five or more years of UX design experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
Ability to work with different areas of the business to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet needs, goals and vision.
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
Can perform both interaction design as well as visual design.
Has experience creating material design standards.
Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders via a distributed model to regularly deliver design solutions for approval.
Be willing to help teammates, share knowledge and experience with them, and learn from them.
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
Can excel and self-motivate within a fluid and flexible environment.
