Incident Response Engineer Business- ResilientProfessional Services at Resilient helps customers to radically transform their ability to respond to security threats. We help to streamline and orchestrate their security incident response processes and applications. As an IR solution engineer, your role is to create and deliver custom software solutions that integrate Resilient Incident Response Platform with other cloud and on-premises systems. Working directly with our customers’ SOC teams and IR analysts, you will need to gain a deep understanding of requirements, then design, document and deliver high-quality solutions using a combination of packaged software configuration and new functionality. You’ll need to negotiate tradeoffs between features, capabilities, limitations and schedules, while keeping on top of the details, and focused on successful outcomes. As a software developer, you will work with interesting systems using a wide range of modern tools. Our mainstays are Python, JSON, REST web services, and message queues, with lots of Unix and some Windows. You’ll need to be able to write clean, reliable, maintainable code and work closely with customers to deliver it into production. Our team is diverse, fun, and with high expectations. We’re based in lovely new offices in Kendall Square. Some travel (25%).
Great customer-facing skills including written and face-to-face presentations
Proven ability to work conscientiously and independently under changing deadlines
Hands-on experience with unit tests and integration tests, git, CI; SQL and relational databases; networking, TLS and certificates, Unix and shell scripting
Experience creating and using JSON-based RESTful web service APIs
Bachelors or advanced degree in computer science (or a related program) or equivalent work experience.
