As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Oracle s most elite team (the A-Team) is seeking a diverse, highly energetic development technical leader for a mission critical division of the organization. We are Oracle s elite outbound arm of development responsible for helping our customers achieve success with our products. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary engineering team specializing in architecting, designing, and prototyping innovative visually rich and highly interactive Mobile and Browser based applications, demo s, and prototypes for our most prestigious customers. The position interfaces directly with multiple senior leaders within the product development ecosystem.
The individual will play a technical leadership role, primarily focused on software development for a wide array of projects involving rapid innovation and deployment of data, applications, and services for use in complex high profile Oracle customer initiatives as well as internal high profile swat team activities aimed bettering the products we offer our customers. The position is responsible for innovative use of Oracle s Cloud Development products and tools, and harvesting real world use cases for product management in a competing-priority environment.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities include
Handling competing priorities effectively and handle input from many diverse external collaborators and stake holders. Help define the technnical plan, and identify skills required for a given project
Track and communicate individual, team and project successes, shortcomings, risks, deliverables, and timelines. Provide hands-on, engagement, and support for an agile team. Assist management to create and constantly revise timelines and estimates for projects and goals and keep all relevant stakeholders appropriately in the loop.

She or he is a high function engineer, in- depth understanding of agile delivery mechanisms, a good understanding of data models, in-depth familiarity with emerging development tooling and mobile development practices, and an ability to drive value. Must possess the ability to lead, mentor, and coach a small but dynamic group of contributors. Must be able to up level and summarize project goals and risks at an executive level.

A master s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or a Bachelor s Degree and comparable experience in software development, information technology, and/or data architecture.
