Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Operations, this role will be a key member of the SGZ MCE and Digital Operations team, with a primary focus of supporting the technical needs of the Veeva Vault & SFDC platforms ( Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Veeva Vault). Multichannel Engagement (MCE) is an initiative that will provide brand teams with better tools and techniques to engage our customers. A multi-Global Business Unit/country project has been launched to build a high-performing MCE platform in each business: setting up new channels of engagement, providing standard tools, upgrading our data management and analytics capability, and ensuring an integration that enables customer-centered, closed loop marketing. Achieving them is a critical part of Sanofi’s digital strategy.

The role will act as a admin/developer with a particular focus on building and maintaining Veeva Vault and other SFDC solutions supporting SGZ commercial teams on their Multichannel journeys. The role will work closely with the internal Veeva Vault Business Process Owner to deliver innovative solutions to our business partners and will play a key role in enhancing SGZ’s foundational Multichannel activity.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall configuration, design, and functionality of the Salesforce/Veeva Vault functions

  • Build and maintain mobile solutions leveraging as a platform

  • Configure and maintain the functional objects of

  • Create and manage workflow rules, data validations, triggers, and object customizations

  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards

  • Customize fields, page layouts, record types, searching, list views, etc…

  • Manage operational requests and assist in the escalated triage of support issues, working with diverse user groups

  • Assist in gathering requirements to continuously improve the CRM platform

  • Assist in the evaluation of new Veeva & functionality and App Exchange tools for feasibility and impact to the business

  • Create and maintain system interface diagrams, functional designs, and technical specifications

  • Proactively identify production risks and create actionable mitigation plans

  • Support the Veeva BPO in the development of full process SOPs and training when applicable

  • Collaborate with vendors and information technology to prioritize, launch and implement new tools and system enhancements.

  • Participate in the Agile development process Qualifications Basic Qualifications

  • B.A./B.S. Degree

  • Salesforce/Veeva certifications (Advanced Administrator and Developer certifications in particular)

  • 3+ years of experience in a technical admin/developer role with Veeva Vault focus and customizing and Veeva Vault

  • Experience building and deploying mobile applications with the platform

  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment

  • Experience in the biotech / pharma space with implementation and support of IT projects

  • Ability to support and perform large application test plans (functional UAT and SIT integration)

  • Experience with system and application monitoring

  • Experience in managing vendors and external business partners

  • Technical proficiency with analytics systems and Excel, PowerPoint, and Word applications

  • Excellent Oral & Written Communication Skills and an ability to work directly with users to refine business requirements Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing native ios mobile applications

  • A business-focused approach to implementing technology solutions with an ability and interest in understanding the underlying business need so solutions that are delivered add value to the business.

  • An energetic and self-motivated approach to solving problems and driving solutions
