Oracle Writer/Content Marketing Manager, Oracle Construction and Engineering GBU in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Responsible for the overall development of technical and editorial content and message portrayed across Oracle's digital channels in execution of the company's digital strategy

Responsible for the development of digital content on web and technical decisions for assigned programs. Writes summaries, blogs and abstracts of policy materials for social media, email, web and other digital channels. Research and execute best practices for planning, writing, and disseminating digital content; and for engaging audiences online. Create digital content including blogs, galleries, briefs, infographics and articles for Oracle's products and services online and print publication. Posts digital content on web and engage audiences via social media and optimal SEO practice. Take a metrics-driven approach to optimize content strategy. Assist in the identification of the objectives for digital applications and coordinates the development of content to meet defined objectives.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. Knowledge of digital design, flow and site organization. May have project lead role. 5 years related experience. Moderate technical and strategic understanding of Technology, Applications, and Industry solutions being marketed.

Oracle Construction and Engineeringis lookingfor aWriter/Content Marketing Managerto help us tell our story acrossmultiple content platforms. This position will be responsible for creating compellingthought leadership - white papers, customer success stories, case studies,bylined articles, blog postings, etc. - and other Marketing content to fuel ourdemand gen efforts. We re looking for a versatile writer and editor skilled atresearching and crafting analytical content - long and short - and deploying,amplifying, and repurposing content assets across channels.

Our ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in journalismand/or content marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling Marketing content/assets to drive traffic,engagement, and demand generation

  • Write/edit engaging short-form and long-form content, such aswhitepapers, blogs, infographics, articles, eBooks, videos, social posts, andweb copy, while managing multiple concurrent projects

  • Work with Marketing managers and agencies to plan and execute campaignassets aligned to buyer journey stages

  • Conduct regular interviews with Oracle Construction and Engineeringbusiness and strategy leaders to develop content aligned to evolving strategicobjectives

  • Support PR efforts through research and story development

  • Create customer success content across channels (blog, video,webinars, case studies, etc.) and assist with customer recruiting for events

  • Help create content and drive engagement around internal social mediasharing initiatives

  • Assist with SEO and site analytics activities to optimize content

  • Coordinate with Marketing team globally on content management,including reviewing/updating assets and maintaining content repositories

PreferredQualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience, preferably journalism, marketing,communications or another field where great writing matters

  • BA/BS degree

  • Strong quantitative, analytical, or statistical skills

  • Knowledge of the construction industry or past experience at a tech companya plus

  • Published writing samples

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

  • Graphic design experience a plus

  • Ability to interact with all levels of management as well as outside vendors

  • Ability to manage multiple deliverables with simultaneous deadlines in multiple time zones in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work out of our Chicago office preferred
