Test Automation Lead – Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary: ZOLL is a leader in the field of resuscitation products for emergency responders, hospitals, and lay rescuers. Our software team creates and supports sophisticated embedded device software and communications solutions based on state-of-the-art software technologies and open standards. This Software Test Automation Lead is an individual contributor and will lead the development and implementation of a test automation infrastructure. He or she is expected to be knowledgeable of and follow industry standard development practices in a regulated product development environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Create automated test infrastructure

  • Design, develop and support automated unit, integration and verification tests for an embedded software application

  • Create or specify software and hardware tools and fixtures to support testing

  • Interface and collaborate as part of the software development team to report and aid diagnosis of issues.

  • Review and provide input to software designs to aid automated testing.

  • Participate in the software development life cycle including maintaining test protocols and requirement tracing.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of software development or test automation experience

  • Python

  • Experience with SDLC tools including bug tracking and code repository

  • Experience with Scrum is helpful, but not required

  • Experience with medical device development is helpful, but not required

  • BS in computer science or engineering discipline
