The Technology Team supports the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of all banking systems. This team has the expertise and commitment to develop high-quality solutions to meet the needs of a fast-paced and complex operating environment.
Santander US is seeking a qualified individual responsible for implementation of operating systems related to CCAR required under the Dodd- Frank Act. Specifically, these system implementations relate to capital planning, stress testing, balance sheet forecasting and regulatory reporting domains that play an integral role in complex processes such as CCAR/DFAST. The director will be responsible for managing teams of people and drive business analysis, cost and benefit analysis, testing, and rollout/training of systems.
Responsible responsible for delivering complex regulatory programs, systems implementation projects and working with production issues. In addition activities will also include communication planning, and data exploration and analysis.
Conducts data analysis in support of applications and projects, including identifying and documenting business rules, data needs and data specifications
Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to create a clear understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying
Ensures that new solutions address immediate business needs, while ensuring system alignment with global technology strategy and application roadmaps
Helps to support, maintain and debug existing applications and systems
Collaborates across application development and technology teams within IT to ensure implementation activities are aligned with expectations
Manages teams throughout system implementation and delivery of regulatory systems implementation efforts
Pro-actively communicates and collaborates with business clients to ensure appropriate IT solutions are defined and executes on a timely manner
Participates in design, development, testing and implementation of solutions
Drives delivery of solutions
Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience; Between 10 -15 years of Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Systems Implementation, Management of Implementation projects.
Strong understanding of Basel III,CCAR/DFAST,Moodys Risk Authority, Risk Advisor or Scenario Analyser. Similar experience from Oracle OFSA, Wolters Kluers will be Acceptable
Ability to demonstrate a command of fundamental concepts in CCAR/capital planning/stress testing related processes (e.g. PPNR and Credit Risk model execution, balance sheet forecasting and cashflow generation, RWA and Basel capital ratios) and regulatory reporting
Familiarity with CCAR/Stress Testing related regulatory reports such as FR Y-14A/M/Q and typical data and processes associated with the production of in order to
Ability to interface with our business stakeholders as well as well as translate such concepts seamlessly to technical needs for system implementation and operation
Experience with Moodys suite of applications is a preferred
