[POSITION SUMMARY] Review system requirements and system design documents to create test cases with detailed steps and expected results with a high degree of accuracy. May analyze, develop, debug, execute and maintain automated test cases within the testing environment. Execute test cases and document actual results, with a high degree of accuracy for system test phase adhering to timelines. Assist in defining test data and test environment requirements. Log defects and assist in resolution process as required. Provide support to business teams for business testing as required. Build relationships and work collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve variance from product/application specifications. Participate in or develop test strategies/plans, traceability matrices and test closure reports, for small to medium complexity projects. May provide day-to-day support for test environments, trouble shooting, triaging issues and coordinating resolution with all technology partners. Adhere to prescribed testing processes, and identify, assess and address risks. Ensure timely notification of issues/problems and make recommendations for issue/problem resolution. Ability to identify opportunities to improve the performance of Technology processes and delivery outcomes. Promote and develop awareness of testing methodologies and standards. Support automation and test data management strategies. Adhere to existing processes/standards including testing and project management disciplines, well-defined enterprise technology delivery practices and standards, escalating escalate issues as required. Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends/developments. May support and maintain virtualized services, components and environments by using Service Virtualization tools to enable functional and non-functional testing. May develop, debug, execute and maintain performance testing scripts using various performance testing tools. Prioritize and manage own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines. Support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest. Participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business units. Coach new or less experienced colleagues and act as a reference for the requirements management lifecycle. Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the business unit and/or team. Provide insight, information and recommendations on industry trends and significant issues. Promote and develop awareness of testing methodologies and standards. Continuously enhance knowledge/expertise in own area and keep current with leading-edge technologies trends. Provides day-to-day guidance, to project management team and testing coordination. Manages defect management / resolution process and acts as the primary contact on projects for testing. Identifies testing risks and coordinates test environment. Writes scripts and scenarios per QA methodology. May be involved in or lead the development and delivery of test strategies for less complex projects. Builds relationships and works collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve problems. Generally reports to a Manager or Senior Manager. Advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth of experience. Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience.
