Objectives of the Role:

This senior-level position is responsible for the development, tactical execution and measurement of a comprehensive communication strategy and related programming deliverables aimed at the North America Operations (NAM) workforce that is aligned with and supports the business goals of the NAM organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor and counselor to executives, managers, and individual contributors in the organization. You will build trusted relationships with colleagues to drive awareness and understanding, commitment, and engagement with business goals and initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a strategic communication plan and programming deliverables for NAM employees that are aligned with and support both NAM and company communication goals and priorities

  • Provide senior-level counsel to all levels of the organization and collaborate cross-functionally as a subject matter expert in communication methodology and practices

  • Prepare compelling tactical tools compliant with Schneider Electric’s brand standards to translate complex content into digestible messaging in a creative manner for the NAM employee audience

  • Maintain updated messaging using myriad digital publishing tools

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related discipline; Masters degree is a plus

  • Prefer at least 10 years of internal communications or equivalent experience (as a team member and/or leader)

  • Strong communication, writing, presentation and influencing skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and leverage relationships internally and externally to deliver results

  • Business acumen in the areas of front office/sales, services, marketing, and product launches

  • Ability to develop and communicate an overall strategic vision that enables business results as well as ability to execute the details

  • Proven track record of successful project management and ability to architect and drive programs that support the organization's employee communication and engagement and change management efforts

  • Experience in building and executing multiple programs, and ability to manage numerous priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications with an emphasis on PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Yammer a plus

  • Competencies include: Project Management, Cross Cultural knowledge, Issue Resolution, Change Management & Implementation Methodology, and Employee Relations
