Examples of specific tasks that would be undertaken:

  • Design of mixed signal circuits at PCB level

  • Schematic design, simulation, PCB layout guidance

  • Measurement of performance of sub-circuits: timing and threshold margins, thermal and supply margin

  • Design of cabling and interconnect systems for carrying high speed signals

  • Evaluation of formal validation test results, resolution of issues

  • Supplier communications for development of designs solutions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred)

  • 2+ years electronic product design and analysis experience

  • Track record of design of complex electronics subsystems at the component/PCB level

  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance

Skills and experience that would be beneficial:

  • Knowledge of fundamental technology relevant to consumer electronic products (HDMI, digital audio, digital video, USB)

  • Experience with design and development of consumer electronic products

  • Experience using tools

  • High speed simulation using Sigrity

  • Timing analysis

  • Electronics CAD (Cadence)

  • Experience with consumer electronic product development

  • Experience with streaming audio or video applications
