Bose Engineering Asset Planner in Framingham, Massachusetts

Job Description

Provide the company with the following Engineering Asset Management activities:

  • Contract Maintenance Renewals

  • Track Application licenses and/or contract expiration dates

  • Work with Vendors to manage contract renewal timelines

  • Work with Vendor to generate quotes

  • Review license agreements

  • Access and investigate any inconsistencies with renewals/VLA compliance

  • Create usage reports

  • Update software usage profile

  • Generate recommendations for purchases/renewals

  • End User License Entitlement

  • Maintain databases of Named licenses

  • Verification of need and availability

  • Identification of specific licenses to be purchased

  • Capital Expenditure Justification and Documentation

  • Develop policy proposals for allocation of licenses and priorities

  • Processing Shopping Carts

  • Ensure license files from Vendor are correct and work with Tech Service and Support group to install

  • License Asset Management

  • Monitor License on a daily basis

  • Generate reports on specific license/feature use over a given timeframe

  • Evaluate usage trends to determine addition license needs

  • Create and maintain software usage profiles for all applications supported

  • Hardware Asset Management

  • Coordinate with CIS, Field Services to set and maintain timeframe and procedures

  • Maintain user/machine list and replacement schedule

  • Manage physical inventory which exists in CIS storage at PP

  • Process Shopping Carts for bulk purchases

  • Identify users receiving replacement PCs to CIS for ticket processing

  • Manage loaner pool of older PCs at CC that have been replaced

  • Processing EST group software/hardware shopping carts

  • Work with requester to get quote and generate shopping cart

  • Provide purchase/renewal support and investigation for EST and other engineering departments as requested

  • Budget Management

  • Create proposed US301709 budget for next fiscal year

  • Track expenditures vs. budget for new hire and replacement PCs

  • Track US301709 Expenditures vs. budget

  • SharePoint and Yammer Maintenance

  • Manage libraries of license agreements, software profiles, real-time usage graphs, user/license inventories

  • Utilize SharePoint and Yammer as spaces for providing information and receiving feedback from users

  • Create and run Yammer groups as appropriate/necessary for informing and interacting with application users
