Credence LLC Developmental Architect in Hanscom AFB, Massachusetts
In the role of Developmental Architect, performs as part of a highly technical team of civilian contractors supporting the US Air Force Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) Division within the Nuclear Weapons Center. Position resides within the NC3 PEG which is responsible for monitoring acquisition processes of component programs of the NC3 Weapon System throughout the system lifecycle.
Experience in RF (Radio Frequency) Communications Systems
Minimum of 10 years of relevant, related experience.
Ability to act in role as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the application of knowledge and experience in acquisition program management philosophy, policies and procedures to Air Force systems, subsystems, and equipment procurement activities, post award project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs throughout their life cycles.
Specifically, ability to perform, with minimal oversight and direction, the following primary tasks:
• Provide engineering support for the Model and Simulation activities across the NC3 Enterprise. • Main duties include: o Synergize modeling and simulation efforts across the DoD, FFRDCs, UARCs, and Industry partners. o Analyze and evaluate system design relative to specifications, design criteria, verification cross-reference matrices, etc., evaluate a system’s functional architecture including, but not limited to, assessing technology alternatives and concept/design alternatives. o Provide recommendations for SoS architectures, interfaces and acquisition strategies, identify capability and performance improvements, and enable a more agile and open architecture that can more easily accommodate advancements in technologies.
Security Clearance Requirement
Secret with ability to obtain Top Secret.
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other software related engineering program) from an accredited university or institution.
