As the Analyst, Technical Project Management, I with Dell EMC, you will act as the primary interface to the customer, who manages the full life cycle of projects or programs from requirements gathering through customer service handover

You will also be responsible for the following:

The Global Services Associate Program (GSAP) hires candidates through a globally consistent and proven program. As an Analyst, Technical Program Management (ATPM), you will be developed through a structured program that combines intensive training and on-the-job mentored experience. This intensive role based-training includes:

  • An introduction to the storage industry, best practices and methodologies and the Dell EMC way of doing business.

  • Hands-on experience with the Dell EMC tools. processes. and success factors for the role.

  • An opportunity to learn the foundation needed to achieve a Dell EMC technical certification.

After Boot Camp, you will transition into the local team and begin working in your full time role directly impacting Dell’s Total Customer Experience. Your principal duties will be to:

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Quickly learn new technologies as they are developed and released by our Product Engineering teams.

  • Perform customer and services maintenance testing (examples – rack/stack, code upgrade, system expansion, part replacement and remote connectivity)

  • Drive enhancements to our customer and Services experience through collaboration with Services Program Management and Development Engineering

  • Work with Services teams to optimize operational excellence in our maintenance procedures.

  • Effective communications through documentation, data analysis, and presentations of your findings to our stakeholders and product design influencers.

Skills

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and products (implementation level)

  • Working knowledge of PC or Server Hardware and Components or troubleshooting experience

  • Basic programming or scripting knowledge such as one of shell or C++ or Python, Perl etc..

  • Linux or Windows or Unix Basic System Administration

  • IP or Fibre Channel Networking protocols experience or knowledge

  • Understanding of Computing and Storage Virtualization a plus

  • IT infrastructure, cloud architecture and industry knowledge a plus
