Abacus Technology Sustainment/Fielding Engineer (A093) in Lexington, Massachusetts
Abacus Technology is seeking a Sustainment/Fielding Engineer to provide acquisition support for the Command, Control, Communication, Intelligence and Networks (C3I&N) Directorate at Hanscom AFB. This is a full-time position.
Provide life cycle sustainment planning and support for the Full Motion Video (FMV) Extension and Unified Relay (FEURY) Program. Direct, develop, and perform enterprise logistics involving analyzing, coordinating, and evaluating the necessary actions required to create a fielding and support posture designated program. Provide JUON/UON/Quick Reaction Capability logistics management and oversight. Support Equipment requirements determination process and coordination with stakeholder organizations.
5+ years experience in logistics and acquisitions. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Must have a strong understanding of the Joint Urgent Operational Needs (JUON) process. Experience relevant to acquire and sustain communications equipment, products, and services to include product support verification fielding of systems, training support, supply chain management, support equipment, technical data and other required ma fully implement and sustain program plans. Experience with JUON/UON/Quick Reaction Capability logistics management and oversight. Experience with Site Activation Task Force including supporting requirements development and supporting strategies for equipment deployments CONUS and OCONUS. Knowledge of electronics/communications equipment and software maintenance operations for military systems. Familiar with Quality Assurance standards for communications and IT/Software systems. Experience with Supply Chain Management using Military and Commercial Carriers/Supply Account setup and monitory. Knowledge of Weapon-System health monitoring, reporting and analysis. Experience with Performance Based Logistics Contracts for sustainment and operational employment of Air Force Weapon Systems. Knowledge of the defense transportation process and procedures (PHS&T) and MILAIR coordination. Experience with procurement and fielding of contractor developed systems supporting fielding and test operations. Experience with Depot and Organizational-level maintenance planning and development. Able to act as the GFP/GFE/GFM and CAP Subject Matter Expert to include tracking and auditing for ICS/CLS JUON/UON programs. Must be organized and detail oriented. Able to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and demonstrate strong customer service skills. Must be willing to travel to CONUS and OCONUS sites when necessary. Must be a US Citizen and hold an active Secret clearance.
