Acts as an intermediary between the manufacturing operations community and the technical community working with IT project teams and business clients to collect, clarify, and translate business requirements into documentation and conceptual design (using appropriate tools and models) from which applications and solutions are developed. Active thought partner and solution visionary who shapes the technology demand for the manufacturing operations community.
Interact professionally with a diverse group, including executives, managers and subject matter experts.
Manage ongoing relationships with business partners to drive satisfaction with IT and proactively resolve business partner satisfaction issues.
Assesses the risks of various solutions and prioritizes competing business demands.
Evaluate ongoing user requests, establishing and shifting priorities based on multiple considerations, and demands.
Investigate and evaluate technology solutions and processes and make recommendations that maximize time, efficiency and cost.
Collaborates with business partners to research, design, document, and modify solution specifications throughout the production life cycle.
Clearly articulates and documents business requirements.
Participate in all systems life cycle and project management activities across a matrix environment. Maintain familiarity with other technical platforms.
Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and walk-throughs to communicate system designs and validate proposed solutions.
Working hours: 8-5
BA/BS degree in Information Technology or Computer Science with 5-10 years progressive experience in analytical roles of increasing responsibility, or equivalent.
Experience in the following areas is an asset: Manufacturing Systems, SQL, .NET, Visual Basic, Computer System Validation, and GAMP5.
Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to communicate in both verbal and written communication.
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a team dynamic across multiple functional organizations.
Basic understanding of information technology and business concepts
