The Solutions Design Team is responsible for incorporating the latest technologies into the design of Amazon Robotic Fulfillment Centers. We’re searching for an innovative and motivated Program Manager who will play a key role in managing integration and relationships with cross-functional teams including Deployment Engineering, Demand Planning, Supply Chain, and Technical Support, as well as driving process improvement initiatives for the Solutions team. This role requires excellent communication and project management skills to manage design analytics and timelines, process information from multiple stakeholders, and implement improvement initiatives for the team. Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with multiple functional groups across Hardware design, Software design, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to understand requirements, implement processes, manage changes, and serve as a central point of contact for the Solutions Design Team

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, monitor program milestones, track and report capital spending, coordinate cross functional meetings and represent the Design Leads, track open issues, and support internal customer needs

  • Maintain and improve the processes and methodology to expand the portfolio of Amazon Robotics fulfillment center designs, strategic tools, and models

  • Demonstrate proven success as both an independent performer and a contributing member of a high-performing team; show the ability to deep dive and develop innovative ideas for process challenges

  • Build and maintain dashboards to enable efficient analysis by team leads as well as collect, analyze, and report on data to enable information flow across teams

  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, business, or a related field

  • 2-5 years of experience in project management or business operations driving process excellence initiatives and projects

  • Excellent verbal/written communication and project management skills

  • Experience driving change through cross-functional organizations

  • Strong MS Excel skills and experience with, or ability to quickly learn, ERP software

  • 5+ years of experience as a technology/engineering project manager or as an industrial engineer, process engineer, systems engineer, manufacturing engineer, or related occupation
