If you excel at managing complex projects and serving clients at the highest level of professional excellence, Mercer Outsourcing Services National Services want to meet you. To fulfill this role the Senior Project Manager will:

  • Manage delivery of projects that meet or exceed Mercer's quality standard as well as HR Services client and product requirements;

  • Define and manage project scope and business requirements. Acting as key coordinator, this would include all aspects of project initiation, planning, delivery, control and closure, as well as identifying project requirements, processes and resource needs;

  • Liaise with the Systems Implementation, Technology Solutions, Business Process and Administration teams to ensure that all functionality meets business requirements;

  • Attend and contribute to project status meetings internally and externally and manage all communication aspects of the project;

  • Understand the needs of a client's request and work with expert staff to produce pricing or client projects;

  • Oversee all aspects of client approvals and sign offs of requirements and implemented solutions;

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in technology, mathematics or business administration or equivalent training and work experience;

  • Previous experience as a senior pension or benefits implementer, project management and program management (5 years);

  • PMP designation or extensive knowledge of formal PM methodology;

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;

  • Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure and to meet tight deadlines;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Strong client relationship management experience ;

  • At least five years of experience working with traditional and flexible benefit plans in a web-based outsourcing environment;

  • Ability to work effectively in team environment.
