Oracle Cloud Adoption Consultant in Quincy, Massachusetts

As an acknowledged authority within Oracle, this senior level consulting position is responsible for creating and implementing innovative solutions with industry-wide impact. Leads the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated solutions within constraints of time and budget.

Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer s objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. As a position of technical/professional influence, this individual frequently operates at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies enhancements to Oracle products to meet very complex customer needs. Exercises creativity and independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to deliver functional and technical expertise on a wide range of business and technology solutions. Leads experienced consulting teams on challenging projects; works on significant and unique issues. As a thought leader and trusted advisor, effectively influences difficult decisions at the leadership-level of customer organizations. Enables business development efforts by providing subject matter expertise. Resolves very complex customer escalations. Drives customer process direction and decisions by providing domain leadership within relevant industries on end-to-end enterprise solutions. Creates new solution sets based on assessment of industry needs, market demands and knowledge of competitive product offerings.

10 years of experience relevant to this position including 5 years of consulting experience. Management or team leadership experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to lead large teams. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed.

As part of this expanding Cloud Adoption team, you will champion thefollowing services for Oracle Consulting clients: modern best practice consulting, processadoption, change planning, transition management, training requirements/planningand learning, evaluation against business goals, communication of businessbenefits and benefit tracking.

The major focus of this position is on Oracle Cloudproduct adoption and lifecycle success for the client.

_Roles andResponsibilities_

The main responsibilities will include:

/Project delivery:/

  • Foster best practice process adoption withOracle clients, along with other members of the NAAC Cloud Adoption team.

  • Diplomatically facilitate and lead clients tostandard use of the application; persuade clients to avoid extending or customizingthe application as much as possible.

  • SupportOracle clients in identifying process and organization changes.

  • Program manage the completion of therecommended change activities with the client. Attention to detail, follow through and support of customers in businesstransformation is required.

  • Serve as a link between the businessstakeholders and the Oracle solution configuration team, guiding businesschange based on Oracle s Modern Best Practices.

/Business development:/

  • Strong selling and executive presence requiredto successfully present messages during pursuit cycles. Help to articulate this Cloud Adoptionperspective, approach and benefits.

  • Provide input and support for the sales team inclient proposal generation and value messaging.

  • Support the NAAC Cloud Adoption team in the developmentof Oracle True Cloud Method (TcM) accelerators.

_Profile_

  • 8-10 years of experience relevant to thisposition, including 4 years of consulting (Big 4 preferred) or equivalentbusiness unit experience.

  • Consulting background in Change Management,ideally in a SaaS environment, including business process change/adoption,business impact analysis, stakeholder analysis, organizational communicationsand training.

  • Deep business domain knowledge required in:Financials, Supply Chain, Human Capital Management, Sales Automation or ServiceAutomation. Must establish sufficientsubject matter credibility to influence client decisions.

  • Experience in IT project delivery, SaaSexperience preferred. Knowledge ofsystem implementation lifecycle, ideally with focus on business change, processadoption, UAT, training, and post go live support ideal.

  • Demonstrated ability to present convincingideas, facilitate group sessions, influence decisions and interact with alllevels of client personnel.

  • Ability to communicate effectively, buildrapport with team members and clients and strong negotiation skills areessential.

  • Understanding of cloud terminology and modernbest practice

  • Proactive with positive attitude to change

  • Ability to learn quickly and support the NAACCloud Adoption team in strategic consulting projects

  • Proven attitude to work in a virtual teamenvironment and ability to build consensus

  • Bachelor degree required; Masters preferred

  • Fluency in English is mandatory

  • Ability to travel as needed.
