The Production Control Consultant (Application Resiliency) is a critical role for State Street and responsible for the IT functions related to the Applications Resiliency, Maintenance and Support for applications under Beacon Initiative that are critical to Daily Pricing. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for number of applications that constitute applications under Beacon Initiative. The job requires extensive experience in Application Development, Maintenance and Support functions and liaising with Enterprise Infrastructure Services (ETS) and application development (ADM) teams that work on a 24*7 schedule. Responsibilities include

  • Leadership and Primary ownership of Application from Resiliency, Maintenance and Support Perspective

  • Lead Environments management functions (Production, BUAT/CUAT, UAT etc.)

  • Incidents Management and Problem Management

  • Release Deployment

  • Maintenance of In-house developed applications and 3rd party vendor products

  • Close coordination with Enterprise Technology Services and Client Technology team members

  • Work with development team members to help address their important initiatives

Qualifications Minimum Qualification and Experience:

  • A minimum of Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems or any branch of science, engineering or technology

  • A Minimum 15 years of experience in IT in the areas of Applications and/or Infrastructure development, maintenance, support using various technology and databases

  • Strong knowledge of systems development process, SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall a plus)

  • Proven experience in IT project deployment, Incidents management, change management and implementation (Application and/or Infrastructure)

  • Strong knowledge in Project management and coordination, conducting reviews, providing constructive feedback is a must

  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written to communicate across various levels of the organization and excellent inter-personal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver on tight schedules

  • Experience with all of the Windows Office products Excel, PP, Word and Outlook
