IQE Production Operator in Taunton, Massachusetts
The Production Operator is responsible for execution of production activities specified by the production supervisor in support of MOCVD growth area. Primary responsibility is the operation of MOCVD Epitaxial Reactors and associated equipment, and executing the inspection and test of the wafers produced
Specific Duties: - Essential (employee MUST be able to execute):
Constant monitoring of the operation of the EPI systems, including process monitoring, particle and in-line metrology (ILM) measurements.
Perform routine light maintenance of the EPI reactor and clean room area. (i.e. wipe-downs).
Keep accurate records of tasks executed on the relevant paper and computer log sheets, run travelers, and in the Oracle lot tracking system.
Perform data entry where required, monitor all SPC charts, and notify supervisor or engineer when out of control situation occurs.
Provide support of engineering data collection per written instructions and as authorized by the shift supervisor.
Support execution of Engineering experiments per written instructions.
Some minor chemical handling in a clean room environment.
Other work to be performed:
Must learn all aspects of the area of responsibility necessary for hands-on processing.
Must maintain work area in a clean and orderly fashion.
Additional production support tasks as specified by the shift supervisor, or engineering.
Active participation in Yield Enhancement/Department meetings.
Minimum of High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Experience: 0-5 years of cleanroom experience
Ability to use a Microscope
Knowledge of general PC and Windows
Capable of dealing with fast paced technology driven manufacturing environment stress, ability to remain calm under pressure, high level of Personal Ownership
