As a Designer for Bright Horizons, you will work under the general guidance of the Design Director and provide design expertise and feedback regarding the look and feel of materials representing Bright Horizons. The Designer is responsible for designing a wide variety of collateral materials including, but not limited to, brochures, advertisements, presentations, logos, e-mails and dimensional mailers for all of Bright Horizons products and services. In addition, the Designer is also responsible for Web design projects.
What you will be doing:
Contribute to the design of marketing collateral and/or literature to include flyers, ads, posters, brochures, etc.
Create, organize and maintain archives of images/icons.
Ensure that departments use the appropriate images/icons to meet company standards.
Design various and code HTML e-mails and websites as needed.
Work with various internal customers to ensure products meet business needs.
Assist with evolving and maintaining company’s logo and design standards.
Run thorough pre-press on print projects and work with printers to ensure high quality results.
When leading projects, ensure that design standards are met.

What we hope you will bring to the table:
A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience as a designer is required.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and proficiency in Dreamweaver a plus.
Basic HTML skills for email and website design/build required.
Flash and illustration skills a plus.
Being customer service oriented.
Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Able to communicate effectively with a variety of constituents.
Must be comfortable working on a PC.
