Sanofi Group Manufacturing Process Analyst in Westborough, Massachusetts

Position Summary

Defines and implements lifecycle management roadmaps for business solutions within the Global PDAT program and APEX platform (including elements such as operations management, functional evolutions, budget, support organization, vendor management, etc.). She/he is in charge of delivering the appropriate level of support and the needed functional evolutions to the business solutions in her/his scope while optimizing the associated costs (through solutions’ harmonization and retirement, for instance). To do so, she/he coordinates the activities of a team, leveraging services and outsourcing management to ensure the proper lifecycle management of the solutions in her / his scope. She/he also aims at optimizing the way solution is used and facilitates business process improvements. She/he can also play a key role in projects as Senior Business Analyst, Subject Matter Expert, ITS Project Lead and Project Manager.

Core Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

Business and Vendors Partnership: Build and communicate the solution portfolio roadmap

Build partnerships with Business, ITS Business Partners and Business Process Experts of multiple industrial domains around Process Data Analytics solutions in his/her scope to understand business’ trends and strategy, propose solutions to enable them and prioritize activities

Primary liaison with ITS Business Partners, as well as Site and MSAT / MTech, Engineering, and Quality organizations to develop collateral that map site business processes and requirements to the solution architecture, standards, whitepapers, deployment guides, and best practices

Understand, influence and follow-up on the execution of vendors’ solutions roadmap

Define and communicate lifecycle management roadmaps for APEX business solutions within Sanofi (including elements such as functional evolutions, solutions retirement, budget, support organization, vendor management, etc.) taking into account business needs, technology evolution and cost optimization

Interface with the ITS Business Partners for platform functional changes and deployment programs

Anticipate future manufacturing and data analytic needs and evaluate new technologies for inclusion into the Global PDAT program strategy

Support, Maintenance, Optimization - Maximize the benefit of the platform at the best cost

Define the solution support model for the APEX solutions he/she is responsible from.

Organize and lead the L3 support of the APEX solutions he/she is responsible from

Execute lifecycle management roadmaps for business solutions, leveraging services or managing external provider relationships

Lead the operational assessment and resolution of functional issues and anomalies

Lead / contribute to the overall change management effort: promote and market the solutions, optimize application usage, explain and demonstrate functionalities

Lead teams to deliver the appropriate level of support and the needed functional evolutions for the APEX solution in his/her scope within the Manufacturing Process Data Analytics portfolio

Lead the creation, maintenance and improvement of processes for functional customer support

Negotiate the SLAs with the stakeholders, participate to the SLAs governance and take appropriate actions when needed

Define and implement the governance processes including an industrial data governance with ITS and Business stakeholders

Adapt the APEX solutions in his/her scope to evolving ITS standards and technology evolution

Optimize the cost of the APEX solutions in his/her scope; e.g. through solutions harmonization and retirements

Implement, maintain and assist in establishing performance metrics that demonstrate the APEX solutions in his/her scope are meeting customer expectations and compliance requirements

Design and Build

Lead the development and implementation of global APEX solutions in his/her scope within the Global PDAT program

Provide functional and technical expertise to solution design

Ensure understanding of user needs and development of appropriate functional design, technical design and specifications

Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory requirements and with internal recommendations and standards (quality, security, architecture, etc.)

Lead ITS Functional/Technical Experts Team and PDAT Projects

Define the project charter working with stakeholders

Act as Business Analyst, Subject Matter Expert, ITS Project Lead and Porject Manager or delegate these roles as appropriate within the projects

Lead & coordinate teamwork, make sure that business stakes are well understood by the team

Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work

Ensure a good understanding of Information Management, Manufacturing Intelligence and Process DataAnalytics technologies within the team.

Facilitate the transfer of know-how, experience and best practices within the team

Evaluate workload allocations within the project team and ensure compliance to budget and planning

Take 'arbitrage' decisions when necessary within the project team

Experience and Knowledge

•Mastery of information management and/or business intelligence, people and projects management, SDLC practices (10+ years of relevant experience)

•Experience in GxP environments in a multi-national, multi-platform organization

•Experience with managing design and development of computer systems

•Good communication and interpersonal skills

•English (fluent) for non-native English speaker

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science or equivalent
