Zensar has an excellent opportunity for a Sr Network Architect with a strong background in data center, infrastructure design, implementation, and management. You are responsible for identifying and developing tools, technology, methods, and service solutions that position Zensar as a recognized leader for our clients. Leads development of the detailed technical design and architecture for large opportunities. Collaborate with teaming partners and vendors in integrating their products and services into proposed solutions. Leads and directly supports proposal offer design and proposal writing. Additionally oversees and works on the implementation phase of the project.

Responsibilities include:

Designs and integrates leading-edge, business-critical solutions for major, enterprise-wide solutions. Provides architectural guidance to support large and complex technical projects, systems integration, and solution implementation. Ensures that all architectural artifacts and deliverables are developed to the highest quality standards; provides architectural review and approval for major solution artifacts and plans, partners.Implements alongside the team the actual design and ensures best practice in adhered to.

Expert Knowledge in Networking (IPAM, DNS), including Cisco Switches/Routers, F5 (load balancers), and Checkpoint Firewalls.Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows server 2008+ and technologies (WSUS, SMTP, SFTP) for debugging, setup, and administration.Strong knowledge of VMWare ESX 5.0+ (including vCentre, vRops, SRM) to facilitate setup, administration, monitoring and troubleshooting.Experience with VMWare NSX is a benefit.Proficient in PowerShell and creating automated processes.Proficient scripting network device changes using available APIs.Understanding of system dump contents, system control block structures, all characteristics/features of hardware being used and all system performance principle.

Hands on experience with major switching vendors and possess a deep technical understanding of various vendors product lines.Experience with data center design.Experience with VMware, blade servers and routingExcellent IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols. In-depth knowledge of and experience with major internet routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, RSVAbility to develop Enterprise network infrastructure transformation plan and engineering roadmaps.Analyzes requests for communications network and security systems to determine feasibility, cost, equipment needs and time required; conducts needs analysis, evaluates new hardware and software for completeness and compatibility with existing systems and recommends systems for purchase, conducts simulations of proposed solutions; provides cost-benefit analysis.Secondary Skills

Experienced in server virtualization and Cloud build (OpenStack, VMWare, etc.) solutions in support of virtual compute implementations and performance requirements.Experience in Unified Communication and/or Enterprise MobilityCisco CCNA certificationPrior experiences in identifying potential design, performance, security, and support problems, including ability to identify technical risks/challenges and develop relevant mitigation strategies.Extensive knowledge of the broad spectrum of technology areas, including technology trends, forthcoming industry standards, new products, and the latest solution development techniques; ability to leverage this knowledge to formulate technical solution strategy.Knowledge and hands-on experience configuring and supporting Cisco networking and security hardware to include: ASA, FirewPower, ASR 1004, ASR 9010, Nexus 5000 and 7000 series, Catalyst 6500, 6800, 4500, 3750, ME3600X, and 3560 series switches in a large production environment.
