Description:

Senior Project Engineer • A Senior Project Engineer is needed for a 6-12 month + contract located in Westborough, MA. • Looking for a Project Engineer with PLC and DCS experience specifically with Delta V development and documentation background. Life sciences, Biotech, or Pharmaceutical facility experience is required. • Individual will be a key player in the design, specification, implementation, commissioning, trouble-shooting, and continuous improvement of automation and instrumentation for bio-pharmaceutical production facilities.

Responsibilities: • Electrical and panel design • Specification of automation hardware and software • Development of design documents • Programming to include but not limited to controller, operator interface, data historian, reporting • Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) execution • Site start-up and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) execution • Project Management, scheduling, resource management, scope, & customer correspondence • Mentoring of project engineers • Operational support • Control system troubleshooting support • Evaluates new technologies for their application within a manufacturing facility • Supports proposals department in developing the scope and budget for new projects • Support process and facilities engineers in equipment commissioning • Assists process engineers in troubleshooting and remediation of failures

Required Skills and Experience: • Delta V development and documentation experience • GaMP experience • Validation background is a strong plus • Experience with DCSs such as: Delta V, and ABB • Manufacturing Practices (GAMP) • Experience with HMI/SCADA packages such as: iFix, Rockwell FTView, Wonderware is a plus • Experience with PLCs such as: Rockwell, GE Fanuc, Siemens, WAGO, or Modicon a plus • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Automated • Working knowledge of process systems and continuous processes • Must have a valid driver’s license

Education • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Computer Science
