Sanofi Group Supply Chain Tools - Associate Director in Westborough, Massachusetts

The Supply Chain Tools – AD will work in the Specialty Care Supply Chain Organization as a member of the Supply Chain Enabling Capabilities group. The primary focus of the position is to analyze business needs and processes, understand current and planned technology architectures, fit business requirements to align to global system design, assist in process development and deployment, assist in the delivery of projects in a timely manner, and support the user community. The AD will serve as an intermediary between the corporate product supply group, Information Systems groups, and the Enabling Capabilities team in delivery of technology supporting supply chain related systems across the Sanofi Genzyme business unit.

The AD will serve as an intermediary between the corporate product supply group, Information Systems groups, and the Enabling Capabilities team in delivery of technology supporting supply chain related systems across the Sanofi Genzyme business unit.

Responsibilities include:

• Recognized as expert process, system, technology resource in the business functions supported

• Combines both strong business process and enabling technology focus in support of improvement efforts

• Influences decision makers using excellent communication skills

• Enables change by building trust through demonstrated capabilities

• Evaluates business requirements, presents options, and recommends business process and/or systems solutions based on technical and business suitability

• Reviews and approves functional requirements, specifications, system test scripts and support activities

• Serves as Project Team lead during implementation efforts

• Utilizes leading project management practices during and after project implementation

• Understands key setups and functionality within SAP systems (MM, PP, SD)

• Able to drive interface design and improvements utilizing SAP as source system to Advanced Planning Tools and reporting systems

• Successfully implemented, supported, or managed Kinaxis Rapid Response application

• Understands and recommends Rapid Response analytics and configuration settings

• Develops expertise in Corporate Supply Chain Planning Tools and becomes recognized as expert on the capabilities and use of all supply chain supporting tools

• Works with governance teams to define, monitor, and maintain critical master data elements and Supply Chain KPIs

• Ensures consistency and compatibility across multiple projects and systems where appropriate

• Escalates support issues to information systems and vendor technical support teams

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of supply chain experience in a Global manufacturing environment

  • 8+ years experience in the design, development, analysis, modification, configuration, implementation, and/or support of ERP or other supply chain related information systems

  • 2-5 years experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response system

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related field

  • Ability to travel globally - 10%

Preferred Skills

  • 3-5 years experience with MRP Class A or APICs certification

  • 3-5 years experience in the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industry

  • 3-5 years experience deploying or using SAP MM, PP, SD modules supporting a manufacturing environment

  • 1-3 years of working in or supporting a validated software environment

  • 5+ years of understanding of application, database and systems development lifecycle

  • 5+ years exposure to master data management and data modeling/reporting concepts

  • 5+ years exposure to data management and data modeling concepts

  • Track record of effectively interfacing with Information Technology and Supply Chain management

  • Ability to work with External Consulting teams to document requirements and oversee deliverables

  • Strong Communication, Documentation, and Project Management skills

  • Demonstrated training or 3-5 years use of MS Office tools #LI-GZ
