Description

The Sr. Security Analyst reports to the Textron Systems Director of Security. The successful applicant will manage all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security activities across the organization. Exceptional liaison with the Defense Security Service (DSS), the National Security Agency (NSA) and other DoD and/or Intelligence Community Customers. Responsible for interpreting policies, develops and implements security programs, plans and procedures to ensure mission success and compliance with corporate and national policies. This individual will be responsible for all proprietary programs within Textron Systems secure facilities and include:

Management of all aspects of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and other security activities which includes document/visitor control, personnel security and the security aspects of classified contracting.

Liaison with the Defense Security Service (DSS) and other Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) agencies as required.

Provide Industrial Security guidance to Human Resources, Recruiting, Contracts and Senior Management.

Assists with Industrial Security employment screening interviews.

Oversight of the processing of visit requests and certifications.

Oversight of the processing of new employee security clearances to include actions within JPAS and other systems of record.

Responsible for interpreting policies and develops/implements appropriate security plans and procedures.

Responsible for ensuring security compliance of programs supporting DoD and Proprietary Customers.

Responsible for all administrative inquiries, conducts investigations of non-compliance.

Responsible for supervision of the Industrial Security Staff.

Coordinates and conducts Industrial Security briefings and debriefings.

Coordinates and implements the Textron Systems Security Education program.

Pass and exceed minimum expectations within government assessments and inspections.

Serve as COMSEC Custodian, familiar with NSA Policy 3/16

Perform other physical security duties as required.

Qualifications

  • US Citizenship

  • Must possess and maintain a US Government Security Clearance at the Top Secret level or higher.

  • Bachelor’s degree; a combination of college and work experience or 3-5 years related Industrial Security experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience as a DSS certified Facility Security Officer (FSO)

  • Must hold current FSO certification.

  • Must hold current COMSEC Custodian certification.

  • Must be experienced with JPAS, Intelligence Community processes and procedures and eQIP.

  • Must be knowledgeable of the NISPOM and associated controls/obligations.

  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Knowledge of contracts and associated DD254s.

  • Demonstrated experience conducting business presentations.

  • Must have excellent communication skills both oral and written.
