Mercury Systems Corporate Security Specialist in Andover, Massachusetts

In this role: This position will be supporting our technical teams providing access to sensitive information while safeguarding our National Security. You are responsible for: * Works with the FSOs under close supervision to apply the National Industrial Security Program at Mercury. Performs basic clerical duties in support of security procedures and requirements. May work in a secured environment. Be eligible for and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance. * Document Control * Packaging classified material. * Couriering material back and forth to the post office and other locations. * Maintaining accountability, receipt, and dispatch records. * Destruction of classified material. * Maintain the Security Information Management System (SIMS) * Provide data entry. * Assign classified material to program DD254s. * Manage Document retention records. * Manage DD254s in SIMS. * Maintain Personnel records in SIMS. * Access Government Databases as needed * Escort uncleared individuals within closed areas and SAPFs * Provide support to NSA COMSEC account * Physical Security * Create company badges. * Activate badges in access control system. * Respond to alarm events. * Maintain records of purchase orders and requisitions You are a part of: This role is part of the dedicated security team who support Mercury's efforts in developing technologies to protect the warfighter. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience * To be successful in this role the candidate must be able to have or obtain a Top-Secret clearance. Be organized with records and retention of records. As this position requires working with classified material attention to detail is critical. Knowledge of SIMS, JPAS, DISS and NISS is a plus. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Why should you join Mercury Systems?
