You are responsible for

The role of the eCommerce Marketing Manager is to support the Philips Healthcare marketing organization in delivering world-class digital communications, marketing and campaigns in the broadest sense.

Specific expertise is expected to identify digital opportunities and apply best practice digital marketing, drive digital marketing strategy and planning, work with marketing and marcom in the business, oversee the deployment of digital marketing programs, provide hands-on project management where needed and drive the usage of digital marketing within healthcare with the available tools and capabilities.

The eCommerce Marketing Manager is the bridge between the business and the digital organization and will be a front-runner of digital innovation within your specific remit:

  • Lead nurturing and generation

  • Web and mobile marketing capabilities

  • Traffic generation capabilities (search, online advertising)

  • Social capabilities (LinkedIn, twitter, YouTube etc)

  • Measurement and analytics

You are a part of

The Brand, Communications and Digital organization in North America. As a member of this team, you will partner with digital and eCommerce experts within the North American market as well as our Global Center of Excellence team in the Netherlands.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • Minimum of 3 plus years of digital experience, specifically strategic web site management, project management and digital marketing.

  • Preferably, a BA/BS in Communications, Business Administration, Marketing or Information Technology (with a proper understanding of Marketing).

  • Digital and eCommerce experience within a Healthcare / B2B environment is a plus.

  • In depth experience with one or more of the following; SEO/SEM, email marketing, e-commerce, social media, mobile marketing.

  • Must be an imaginative, enthusiastic marketer with a commitment to delivering measurable results and a proven ability to manage projects to successful completion. Fun, creative professional, excited about web technologies and the business value they will bring to Philips.

  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to effectively influence others in multiple groups to achieve specific goals. The ideal candidate must be a team player.

  • Solid knowledge of internet technologies including those involving content management, web analytics, search engine marketing, email marketing, web site usability, etc.

  • Must be structured, organized, proactive and able to work independently with little day-to-day direction

  • Familiarity with large, multi-national organizations a plus, good communication and organizational skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships across a geographically diverse Marketing organization.
