Job Description: We are seeking a .Net developer responsible for building and maintaining .Net applications using VB.Net, C# and MS SQL. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain these layers of our applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, thoughtful design, and quality product is essential. Responsibilities - Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications - Making changes to existing web applications according to the feedback received from the end users - Build high-quality scalable and predictable web applications on Microsoft .Net framework - Develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code - Integrate data storage solutions using Microsoft SQL Server - Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications - Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues - Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization Skills - 5+ years? experience with .Net web framework - Proficient in C# and/or VB.Net, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems - Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server programming (T-SQL and Stored Procedures) a must - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming - Skill for writing reusable libraries - Experience with popular web application frameworks - Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code - Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application - Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes - Proficient in using Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation - Candidate should have an associate?s degree or certificate in .Net programming If interested in this position please send your resume and MassHire Job Seeker ID # to MassHire Recruiter Abdon Bran at Abdon.Bran@detma.org
