Relevant knowledge and experience:

Essential:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in information technology, engineering or equivalent

  • Demonstrated experience in SAP Variant Configuration work of at least two years

  • Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated excellent process flow / process improvement

  • Demonstrated excellent ability to communicate complex or technical materialPreferred:

  • Ensure that configurable product master data is complete, usable and has a positive impact on end-to-end transactional processing, including data distribution within required systems and applications.

  • Analyze information received from functional areas to understand how the material is being used in order to maximize system efficiencies, ensure data integrity, quality and correct implementation of product data management strategies.

  • Lead/direct the initialization of product master data during the development/introduction of new products (NPI) through planning and analysis that support project milestones. Attend NPI/ product reengineering meetings to understand product and customer requirements. Provides information to the NPI team that will facilitate the implementation of the proposed product release.

  • Facilitate the implementation of PLC (Product Life Cycle) change proposals to material master data by understanding product, customer and system requirements.

  • Execute/validate product master data in a distributed environment including CPQ/ ERP/PLM systems. Ensure that the implementation of product master information satisfies the requirements of the organization.

  • Explains PLDM processes and provides details and requirements to support the business.

  • Understand how this information is used outside the organization and manages the distribution of product master information to other systems.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of related experience; or a Master’s degree with at least 3 years of related experience in information technology, engineering

  • Demonstrated experience in SAP Variant Configuration work of at least two years

  • Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated excellent process flow / process improvement

  • Demonstrated excellent ability to communicate complex or technical material

  • Demonstrated project management skills

  • Demonstrated know-how of medical products
