Mercury Systems Program Scheduler in Andover, Massachusetts
Collaborate with Program Management, Engineering and Operations Leads to develop an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) for each program to support proposal pricing, program baseline development and periodic program status.
Work closely with Leads and Program Finance to ensure schedules and costs are accurate and comprehensive, and include milestones, deliverables, dependencies, predecessors, successors, lag time, and all other pertinent project data
Perform critical path analysis and advise on status and recommendations for risk reduction
Ensure the accuracy of project planning data that is used in the execution of projects, resource planning, and revenue forecasting is up to date and accurate
Assist program management team with initial baseline and rolling wave planning
During program execution, provide periodic reporting to program management team
Meet periodically with PM, Leads, and Program Finance to review project deadlines and activities; ensure Estimate to Complete (ETC) budgets and durations are properly reflected in the project schedule
Monitor and measure project progress, identify and work program-wide issues, and provide support to Program Management with respect to budget impact analysis, including cost, schedule, and deliverables
Develop, and continue to improve upon, scheduling processes and templates
Experience in applying and interpreting integrated cost/schedule and critical path methodologies
Demonstrated understanding of Earned Value (EV) management principles and their application to complex projects
Experience using Deltek Open Plan and/or MS Project to monitor and status large projects
Experience working on DoD programs
Experience in creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
Experience running schedule analysis and schedule health checks
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Understanding of systems/project engineering concepts and practices
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to multitask
Candidate must be a US Citizen
Candidate must either currently possess, or be able to obtain, a DoD Clearance
Education: Bachelor Degree preferred and minimum of 3+ years experience
