What do you get to do in this position?
**You will be responsible for embedded firmware development for a new line of IoT valve and damper actuators for integration into our flagship EcoStruxure Building Management System. Specific responsibilities include primary integration of an existing core hardware platform, codebase, RTOS, and BSP, with necessary control algorithms to create a leading next generation product offering.

You have strong embedded development skills necessary (as listed below) to lead the embedded firmware development with remote colleagues and support of a local center of excellence.
Object-oriented embedded firmware design and development: C++
Integration, reuse, and adaptation of existing firmware code bases
Integrated Development Environments (IDE), secure code repositories, configuration management, unit testing and defect tracking
Real-time Operating Systems
Embedded device networking: BACnet IP
Multiple CPU integration
Direct development experience with ARM Cortex A7, or Cortex M3 and Quadros RTXC OS
Familiarity with IAR Embedded Workbench
Experience with SubVersion and git
Cybersecure development process and the Secure Development Lifecycle
Wireless Networking (Bluetooth, Zigbee)
Mobile application integration
Analytics data support
Agile Software Development Framework
Manufacturing test interface integration**
BACnet MS/TP, Modbus ** REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
5-7 years’ experience in object oriented embedded firmware development with real-time operating Systems. Solid C++ programming skills and full life cycle project development experience required. Ability to lead small embedded team & interface w/ remote teams
Direct Building Management System, HVAC Control System or Industrial Application experience preferred. **
