A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Senior Hardware Design/Embedded Software Engineer in Andover, Massachusetts (MA).Summary:Our client, a global technology firm, is seeking a Senior Hardware Design/Embedded Software Engineer to work with a multi-disciplinary team to develop and integrate state-of-the-art communication systems and components. You will join a talented and collaborative engineering team and play a key role in the design and development of software, firmware, and hardware for complex security products used worldwide.Responsibilities include:

• Design verification for FPGAs

• Building embedded software and firmware

• Working with cross-functional teams to reproduce and resolve complex engineering issues

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent discipline

• 4 years of hardware/embedded design experience

• Strong knowledge of FPGA design in VHDL and/or Verilog

• Hands-on coding skills in C/C

• Knowledge of both digital design and software design methodologies

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
