Description: This team is building upon our leading DCIM solution by leveraging the Internet of Things. The team in Andover, MA is responsible for bringing together all of the power & cooling devices within the data center into a 24x7 cloud based monitoring solution. A key piece of this solution is ensuring that our software is able to discover and monitor devices from every vendor and product family. To achieve this, our application engineers focus on the continued expansion of our device support library.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching the way in which data is presented by the different device vendors and models

  • Mapping vendor data layouts to be understood by our software

  • Performing data transforms using XML, Javascript, and Java

  • Integrating device drivers into our platform

Require Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of networking protocols like SNMP, Modbus, and Web Services

  • Fundamental understanding of networking concepts like TCP and UDP

  • The ability to code within XML, Javascript, and Java

  • The ability to work directly with customers and vendors in some instances
